How to Check the MAT 2019 Exam Result online?
The All India Management Association (AIMA) proclaims MAT results typically in the last week of the month in which examination held. Once the examination results are out, the result can be checked by the candidates on the official website of AIMA.
AIMA conducts MAT examination all over India. The examination is conducted in two different modes which are computer-based and paper-based test mode. The candidates have the option to access the MAT score through the SMS feature as well. The scores are scaled in MAT and the range of composite scores are somewhere between 199-801. It is relevant to note here that in the final results, General Knowledge scores are not considered. The MAT 2019 score remains valid for one year for admissions to all Institutes and Colleges accepting MAT scores in India.
AIMA MAT Results 2019: December Exam
AIMA is likely to announce the MAT Results 2019 by the end of December (tentatively December 28). Candidates who are going for PBT mode and computer-based mode can check their results by clicking on the link that will be provided by AIMA once it is declared. MAT 2019 result has three types of scores – MAT percentile, composite score, and section-wise score. Candidates can check MAT 2019 results, by logging into their respective MAT accounts by using the candidate’s Roll Number and Registration Number.
Steps to Check MAT 2019 Result:
To check the MAT scorecard, one should follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of AIMA
Step 2: Once you are on the homepage, click on the tab called ‘MAT Result’ (Link will automatically appear on this page when the result is released)
Step 3: You will be redirected to the result page, where you will have to enter the following details:
- a) Application/Registration Number
- b) Roll Number
- c) The month of the Exam (December)
Step 4: After filling in your details, click on the ‘Submit’ button
Step 5: Once you hit the ‘Submit’ tab your MAT Score will appear on the screen
Step 6: You can either save the scoresheet or take a print of your scorecard
Note: Candidates need to procure the hard copy of your MAT result in the college selection process. Also, it is noteworthy that candidates will also receive their results via post. If in case the candidate doesn’t receive the MAT result by post, they can place a request for it. Below is the procedure for the same:
- Draft an application requesting for duplicate scorecard
- Get a photocopy of the lower half of your MAT Admit Card centre duly signed by the invigilator
- Write your address on an envelope of 24 cm x 12 cm (approx.) size and affix a postage stamp of Rs 40

MAT 2019 result comprises of the following details:
- Candidate’s roll number
- Candidate’s name
- Candidate’s date of birth
- MAT sectional scores
- MAT percentile
- MAT composite scores
- MAT overall score
MAT 2019 Result on SMS
MAT candidates can also receive their results by using the SMS facility. All you need to do is to type your application number and date of birth by prefixing MATS (in caps) and send this detail to 54242.
What happens after the declaration of MAT 2019 Results?
Candidates have the liberty to request for a duplicate MAT result or scorecard after the announcement of MAT 2019 results. However, the request must be made within 45 days from the declaration of the result. Candidates can also download the scorecard from the website and use it for admission to MBA/PGDM program.
In cases where the candidates have filled the choices of college names in the MAT 2019 application form, then AIMA will directly share the candidates score with those colleges if they have made it through the cut-off of those particular colleges. The colleges will contact the candidates for further rounds of the selection process, which is with GD or PI.
However, if candidates have not selected any MAT participating college at the time of registration, then they need to visit the official website and fill in a form to participate in the selection round.
Note: If any candidate requests for the result scorecard within 45 days from the declaration of the result, AIMA will send the duplicate result scorecard without taking any fee for the post. However, after 45 days from the declaration, candidates can still make a request for the duplicate copy but they will have to pay Rs 118 (18% GST on Rs 100/-)
The validity of MAT 2019 Scorecard: The MAT 2019 score will be valid for one year to get admission at various MAT accepting institutes.
MAT Results for Previous Session (May, February, December)
