They are only successful in regions with moisture levels of not more than 15%. For more humid climates, forced air systems are the better choice, since evaporative air conditioners won’t have much effect when the humidity is 30% or higher.
It may feel warmer in your home if your home has evaporative coolers, which add moisture to the air in a dry environment. It is not recommended to run a cooler in regions with high levels of moisture, since it will expand the levels more, which could cause problems with shape or buildup development.

In contrast, a bog cooler will be a lot noisier than a window climate control system as the fan will be located in the room with you. Window forced-air systems allow a large percentage of the commotion to escape outdoors, which is not a bother to you.
